Hot Chocolate Mix
During the winter, my children like to drink cocoa. I got tired of buying the store brands especially when they have a lot of sugar in them. I found this recipe on a package of instant non-fat milk and just had it tested in the Sturgeon Family Laboratories. It was a success. My friend, Kathy made some before Christmas time and I was inspired.
Hot Chocolate Mix
2 cups instant non-fat dry milk
1/2 cup cocoa, unsweetened
1 cup sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
Mix all ingredients and store in airtight container
To make a cup of chocolate, mix with boiling water.
Top with marshmallows, whipped cream of cinnamon and enjoy.
The recipe used 1/4 cup of mix in 1 cup water. We only use about 1/2 that and it tastes fine!
