Sweet Sunday Peanutty Brownies

I'm suppressing my desire to make this recipe by typing it here and remembering it's sweet deliciousness. I got it off a bag of Shopper's Value generic chocolate chips. I'm often asked for the recipe.

2/3 cup peanut butter
1/4 cup butter or margarine
1 cup brown, sugar packed
2/3 cup granulated sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
3 eggs
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
3/4 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. baking soda
2 cups chocolate chips
1/2 cup chopped salted peanuts, optional

Cream peanut butter, butter or margarine, brown sugar, sugar and vanilla in a large mixer bowl; Beat in eggs, one at a time.

Combine dry ingredients in separate bowl; Add to creamed mixture and mix well. Stir in chocolate chips and peanuts (optional).

Bake in greased 13" x 9" pan at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes.
