10 Minute Chicken and Noodles

I found this recipe on the Fave Diets site.  Needing a quick-fix meal one evening and having a can of chicken,  I gave this a try.  You can play with the ingredients and add onions and garlic, try different noodles and create something geared to the tastes of your family.



10-Minute Chicken and Noodles


1 small can chicken broth
½ tsp. dried basil
2 cups vegetables (frozen combos work or cut carrots, broccoli, cauliflower)
2 cups uncooked noodles
2 cups cooked, cube chicken
1/8 tsp. pepper

In medium skillet mix broth, basil, pepper and vegetables. 
Over medium heat, heat to a boil.  Reduce heat to medium and cook for 5 minutes
Stir in uncooked noodles.  Cover and cook until noodles are al dente.
Add chicken and heat thoroughly.
Serve immediately.
