Deep Fat Fry Fish Batter

My husband gave me a Deep Fryer several years ago. I'm avoiding using it often for health reasons but we did discover that we can make fish and chips at home and often have them turn out better than what you'd find in a restaurant. Here is the best recipe that I have found so far for batter for fish.

3/4 to 1 cup flour
2 tsp. dill weeed
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 Tbsp. vinegar
3/4 cup water

Dry fish fillets with paper towel. Mix flour, dill weed and salt together. Add baking soda and vinegar. Add water until right consistency to dip fish fillets. Deep fry as usual.
