Beer and Brats

We had company for dinner last night and tried grilled brats finished in a beer "bath".

Before grilling the brats, my husband placed a shallow aluminum pan approximately a 8" x 12" on the barbecue and filled with a couple of beers, 2 Tbsp. butter and a large onion cut in slices.

Next, he grilled the brats until they were almost done and then placed them in the beer bath to finish cooking.

Served on grilled buns and dressed with assorted condiments, these brats did taste excellent. Today we enjoy leftovers! A cook free day!!!
